TIPS FOR TRAVELLING TO BRUGES ON P&O FERRIES

John's 28th birthday celebrations at the end of last year came as a welcomed change to our usual plans as we booked a little break away in Bruges for a couple of days.

Neither of us had been to Bruges before and always wanted to visit the Christmas market. It was a fantastic city break, one that we would love to enjoy again. Therefore, as well as the great shots we took and the YouTube videos i've created, I wanted to share a couple of tips about booking a two day break in Bruges including; how to book, where to visit etc for anyone that is planning a short trip and would like some further information.

AMAZING ENTERTAINMENT IN MACAU

Macau is a city that I have well and truly fallen in love with. The sheer amount of attractions and phenomenal entertainment the city has to offer makes it a worthwhile holiday destination for everyone.

EXPLORING MACAU

If you're a real explorer with a passion for adventure, you're going to love today's blog and video.

Day 5 saw Rachel and I venture into the heart of Macau, accompanied by her friend to visit many of the famous landmarks and we also did some urban exploring of our own.

PARADISE IN MACAU

Day three was all about relaxing and traveling. Rachel and I had completely warn ourselves out the day before, with a trip to The Buddha (Part One) and ending the night at The Peak Tower (Part Two) and what I also failed to mention in the last blog was that, we got completely lost navigating our way to The Peak Tower and ended up walking for 45 minutes in the wrong direction - in the unbearable heat and flip flops - not a great combination.

TRAVELING TO HONG KONG

When your best friend lives across the other side of the world - and you only manage to see her once or twice a year - the idea of spending 17 days in paradise together, is something you will always say yes to.

I did just that.

Back in May I packed my case (to the brim), said a final goodbye to John and then set off on a 5,946 mile journey to Hong Kong to live out a once in a life time opportunity with my beautiful friend Rachel.

I'd not seen Rachel since she came to Sheffield for a couple of days before leaving the UK to start her new working contract in China. Therefore, I decided to capture as many moments as possible through photos and videos during the trip and have began to put together daily vlogs for us both to look back on. Especially as Rachel had dedicated a massive amount of time putting together an itinerary of activities, trips and relaxation. Too much to remember off the top of our heads.

Below are some photos taken from the first leg of the journey, and if you scroll to the bottom you can watch the vlog too. I flew by myself for the first time (meaning that I was concentrating on not missing flights instead of filming) so this video is just a short introduction and the rest are much more action packed!

I will be sharing more blog posts with photos and videos over the next few weeks, so please let me know if you're enjoying them.

Millom to Sheffield

Last Thursday John and I took an 11 hour round trip to Millom, to say goodbye to one of my beautiful friends and whilst it was an upsetting two days, I knew that I had to make a record of the memory. Darren loved the videos I made, he supported my YouTube channel and I just know that he would have wanted me to create something.
Therefore, I decided to tell a story of our journey home.

In loving memory of Darren Batey.
